We have had a real doozy of a last week. Life is happening over here, and it’s a little wild and a little overwhelming, but we’ve got our heads high.
Isn’t it crazy how things seem to happen in clumps? I don’t know whether I believe the whole “bad things happen in threes”, but they sure seem to happen all at once. Like, literally BOTH of our cars were stolen two nights ago. Who does that? We’ve since gotten one of them back and now patiently wait for news on the other. But, in light of it all, we are hopeful and excited. We’ve got some REALLY fun news we’ll be sharing here soon – nope, not a baby, but a whole new journey that we’re taking our little family on.
To lighten the mood and get back into sharing some beautiful things in this space, we set a simple and bright table for our Easter dinner with neighbor Norm. The beautiful arrangement from my friend, Amber, was the highlight of the design and really pulled together the mustard cloth napkins, white plates, and mismatched colored glassware to create a fun and easy Spring look.
Cheers to a great neighbor who has become a friend and cheers to a new day and a fresh start. xo
