  • A man of many, MANY lives, a hell of a lot of luck, and who not only loved his family deeply, but was loved even harder by all of us. Our Grampa Stubby. Who once scaled a telephone pole and got kicked in the nose by a calf... and then went to the beach anyway and just let that broken nose do it’s thing. Who fell off ladders and lawn mowers and got squashed by a bobcat. Who was fearless and reckless and brave and wild. Our Grampa, who had us convinced for all of our childhood years that a mouse lived in his shirt pocket. Who didn’t get along with the table saw and had serious choice words for the asparagus thieves. • As far as I’m concerned, he hung the damn moon. Our Grampa, a man of strength and stubbornness. He lived well and worked hard and taught us how to play solitaire and throw caution to the wind. We were his and he was ours. • His last words were “I love you.” • We love you, too, Grampa.♥️

  • I haven’t blogged - or even shared anything here! - for way too long. I have such a hard time keeping up with it and pretty much life in general if I’m gonna be real honest. It’s a miracle when I remember lunch time and actually do laundry before all our clothes are dirty.🤷🏼‍♀️ Still always trying to decide what this space should be about. I’m fully embracing the #boymom life and think maybe it should just about that - mothering boys and all the messy that comes with it. What do you guys think?

  • I’m still always trying to decide how much of our work I should post here - like, are you guys just here to see my kids? Our camper that we no longer live in? I don’t know. Dave and I have been working so hard on completing edits and building our business, and honestly, while it could feel exhausting and daunting, I just feel really happy and proud. We recently released this teaser and couldn’t love it more! These two started as our clients and then became our friends and then we became her clients, too, when Kortney (@everandolive) shot our recent family photos! This job is rewarding and challenging, hard and so fun. I’m thankful for every second.   • As I lay in bed, at 8pm on NYE no less, next to a warm sleeping babe, I’m feeling grateful for a fresh new year. This one has been hard, my friends. Lots of bouncing around, too much feeling unsettled, many lessons to be learned in business and parenting and tiny home living, and way too many poopy diapers and hours spent picking up toys and half eaten cheese sticks. 2018 has been one of the hardest years, but still it boasts so much goodness. I’ll be falling asleep tonight with a happy heart, feeling extra thankful for this guy, who goes to the grocery store on a holiday because I NEEDED to make a smoothie and who gives me super cute baby boys, and for those 3 little nugs, who have brightened (and messied) our world tremendously.   • When you ask your husband to take a photo of you... • This is also what a week of bliss and rest and full nights’ sleep looks like. I do not look this currently. Thanks for all the ideas you’ve messaged me in response to my story yesterday! We were up much of the night with two little boys battling a terrible cough and we are so tired. My one and only goal for 2019 is to keep my family healthier because this just isn’t working for me.✌🏼
  • I’m just over here acting as creator and biggest fan of the next great boy band. Little man McCann no.3 will be joining this party this Spring! • Dave: feeling pretty damn proud. Neeson: loving the idea of another baby brother, even though his experience so far has consisted of lots of hitting and having toys thrown at him. Copeland: always the wildcard and already practicing being a bad influence.
